They mentioned a V6 option and two V8 options. I can almost bet one of the V8's will be the LS2. What will the second be? The 427ci LS7?

I doubt the second option will be the 7L, if so, not many would spend the extra on the Vette. However, if they do, that would be one sick car.

2 v8's..............a) LS2 b) LS2 s/c'd...........or a) LS2 b) LS7......but like Sinister said why would u spend the extra money on a Z06 if u can have a Camaro with the same engine....a) at the end of the day you can say you own a 'Vette b) the Z06 would STILL be faster due to weight issues.....

I think both v8's will be the same engine with one having the option of running on six cylinders for fuel economy.

A LS7 in a Camaro possibly could happen, But not in the near future. The Corvette has always been the pinacle of Chevy's technology. So it's safe to say we wont see a LS7 maro running around. I think 5.3 and 6.0L LSX engines are more possible to appear with this car as one of the above posters already stated.
