Default Mach 1 V.S. Eclipse

So I'm on my way home from the store and I see this older style red eclipse with a huge wing (bigger than the stock SRT-4 wing) and fart can, no other apparant mods turn in front of me. We were turning onto a 2 lane road, and I managed to line up next to him at a red light. Looked over and did an perfect idiot grin, he did the same. My bro was in the car as well, and said the eclipse seemed to go WOT (not that I'd dream of going WOT in 1st on wet pavement) so I started the car in 2nd . I shut down at 80 mph with him prolly 5 cars back, first race is a win, good start for the new car me thinks.

Yeah but I'm a horrible driver, and it's always worth it to beat down some rice.

Sounds like someone needs some REAL competition.

I live in Ohio, it's the middle of winter (the stang's my only car, so it's gotta see salt ). I'm not going to find cars that are "good" competition unless they are in the same position I'm in. So basically I get a whole season of rice cooking!

That's cool OUZBnd, and this is the first manual I'v owned, I have trouble keeping traction in 3rd, much less 1st or 2nd, and I learned to drive stick on a 6 cyl stang about 4 months ago. So yes I suck at driving, but i live pretty close to Akron, OH. PM me if ya wana set up a race some time.

I'v heard horror stories of the older style eclipses flying past stangs and the driver hearing a massive BOV. I was losing traction like crazy (only thing that saved me was the trac control) so I was kinda scared that if it was a modded eclipse I might get beat.
