yeah I dunno about that...I ran a cammed EVO from a roll on and he was shocked to find out I was still stock... went from 65ish to 155ish (needle was in the dash..I dunno when I let off)... he said he had cams, cai, exhaust and DP?.. was untuned though. I took the hit and he was slowly losing ground from the get go.... by triple digits I was widening the gap pretty good...when I let off he was back about a bus length and a 1/2 [8D]...

He can't be talking about the LGT. A 270awhp LGT wont beat an ls1 by 2 cars from a 30mph roll.

who would win in a race from 30 mph? i got a couple of buddies with these 2 cars. they are both STOCK. i haved yet to race the mach 1, but from 30 i took the camaro by about 2 lengths.

And 03/04 cammed, tuned EVO is 330awhp eash. Cammed/tuned 05 are in the 340awhp range. From what I am hearing the 06/07 EVO is putting down crazy numbers with just a tune.
When my car was putting down 280awhp I ran dead even to the top of 4th from a 30mph roll with a WS6 vert auto(read much loser then the 6mt because of the 2.73 gears) with a lid and exhaust. There is no way a 280awhp LGT (Heaver then my WRX) is going to pull 2 cars on him.
The EVO and WRX/STi aren't built for top speed. They have the drag co of a Dodge Ram.. Hehe.

I was surprised at the outcome honestly..if the guy hadn't been so forthcoming with his mods I would have thought it was stock... the tune obviously made the difference though..but I figured he still should have been near 300awhp with his setup untuned...
