I raced my friend who has a 2005 M3 tonight starting from a 60 mph and I'm very happy to say that he did not beat me I started pulling on him slowly from around 80 mph. He used to own a 2007 Mustang GT C/S but he totaled it. He wants a mustang again after that he saw that his M3 couldn't rape me hahaha. He told me he was ****ting bricks when I started pulling from him [sm=badbadbad.gif] Mustangs are fast and very under rated!!! Man I've loved Mustangs ever since I knew what a Mustang was!!! Oh and the only mods I currently have on my car is a K&N Intake with a custom tune. Used to have an o/r H-pipe but I took it off. However it's coming back on tomorrow (BIG GRIN) Oh and my car is an Automatic. Time to race him from a dig... how do you guys think that will go? I don't care if he beats me I already showed what my car is capable of doing from a roll.

Hmm, I'd say from a roll that seems about right. From a dig though I think he will beat you if he can drive. I think they run a tenth or two faster and trap more than we do. Good run and good luck from a dig.

Have you ever been to the track ? Do you know what your times are? I'm not calling bs, but I am saying you won a race you shouldn't have won. A 2005 M3 should run low 13's with a really good driver, and mid 13's with the average. Because they are Sequential, they are very easy to drive. He should have pulled on you from either a roll or a dig. Since they trap at least 3-4 MPH faster then your average stang. I see your mods that you listed, that is not enough to be dead even or even beat a 2005 M3, unless the other guy can't drive. But, a win is a win. Good kill man.

walking a stock S197. They are around the same HP/TQ level you are at the wheels. I don't think you would walk them.. Unless you are running low 13's. Are you?

Power to Weight Ratio sucks. however, I'd still don't think he would "walk" away. Maybe put a good 1/2 car to 1 car depending on the drivers.

I am putting down simular numbers to him (I think I haven't got it dyno tuned yet) and I typically run a couple of tenths faster in the 1/4 and trap a few miles per hour faster than s197's

the few that i've raced i've had no problems. mid 13's. and i know they're can run that stock but how often do you see people on this forum actually running even close to the full potential of the s197. i believe there are actually a couple active post now of folks that can't get out of the 14's
