Default New PB Trap speed but worst times!! (EVO)

Went to Muncie dragway this evening for the last night of the season. I wasn't expecting to run great times because my car is acting up down low. I'm really not sure what the problem is but it keeps bogging in first gear, almost like it's getting too much fuel or something. I just had the engine built and tuned on E85 so somethings just not right. I'm working with the tuner to fix the issues. Anyway, don't laugh at the times, I don't think it was all my fault. I blame the car at least 50%... (Ha-ha)

1st pass - 12.554 @ 125.66 with a 2.37 60'. (Car is bogging on me - Tune issue)
2nd pass - 12.625 @ 116.25 with a 2.15. (Car still bogged but I missed 2nd completly)
3rd pass - 12.990 @ 126.20 with a 2.685. (Car bogged really bad and back fired)

This is the first time in over a year I've not been in the mid to high 11's. I'm going to get the car issue fixed and then throw some good tires on it try to get a 10.999 in next season. If that doesn't happen, I'm giving up. This sport is tooooo expensive and frustrating.

Thanks Blue. You know when your in vacuum, when I step on the gas in first gear and start climbing into boost, that's when the car starts sputtering until I get to about 5 psi or more. Ever seen or heard of this issue? It does it in every gear, but worst in 1st and 2nd. I'm going to change out the spart plugs today and send some logs of last night.

Could be a boost leak or a problem with your wastegate sticking open? I would bet that it's partly in the tune and spark plugs though..

Still those are sick trap speeds man, everyone has bad days.. don't sweat it!

Sounds like maybe bad plugs or an overly rich mixture...
But I'm nowhere near a professional,
especially when it comes to f/i cars...
lol
Who did the tuning?

+1. With that kind of boost PSI your really going to have to pinch down on the spark plug gap. Also are you running a colder plug? You could probably get away with 2 steps colder than stock. If it's not the plugs, It's probably whatever your tuning your fuel with. Might be dumping to much fuel when you go wide open throttle.

You douche nozzle....

How about next time you're going to go to a strip where there might be people to meet, you post up!

I didnt know anyone else on this site went to Muncie.

Is your EVO white? An Evo VIII? and there was another evo viii that you ran against a few times? and at the end of the night, you were parked next to each other by the concessions?

i mean, cause i wasnt there staring at the two evos all night or anything... lol

I had the blue '99 GT, and I was parked on the left as you got toward the second set of bleachers next to a red '99 GT convertable..actually, right across from the DJ and ****ters
