Default Beat One Of My Brethren

His ride was a spotless black New Edge, and it sounded as great as it looked. I didn't get a chance to talk to him, so I don't know what performance mods it had. But I'm guessing not many based on the results of the 2 races.
We went from a dig for the 1st, but took it up to only 60 mph due to upcoming traffic, with me ahead by a car or so.
The 2nd was from a 40 mph roll with no traffic in sight. Again only to 60 mph because I was a car ahead at that point, and he shut it down.

These were the only races I've had since the summer of 07. The cruising season this year has been terrible. No muscle cars, no cars period. I'm guessing the high price of gas has kept drivers off the streets, at least in my area. Is anyone else having the same experience?

You put a car on him in 20mph? Damn, that thing must've been an auto or something!

Cool kill. I love racing other Skittles!

Thanks for the kudos.
Actually, the roll race was probably 40 to 70 mph, since I shut down at 6500 rpm which is just a few mph shy of 70. It's possible it was an auto, and it may also be all show and not too much go.

cruising season hasn't been bad for us... People are always out unless it's raining or snowing here though.

Cops have been out a lot around here lately! I had a WS6 I ran from a dig, pulled a car on, then the lights went on behind me......got in the middle lane......and pulled over the WS6. Cop must've been a Ford lover

It was glistening clean with no body bling. It also had a beautiful set of mags and wide tires. It really looked fantastic. Plus, my ride was grungy looking due to lack of washing over the past couple of weeks. Gotta get off my butt, and wash/wax it before the real cold weather sets in around here in a few weeks.
