Default 03 GT vs. 96 T/A

A friend at work has a bone stock auto 96 T/A. My car is a 03 5 speed with mods listed in sig I should beat him right???

You should be able to handle him without too much trouble. Just mind him from a dig, they leave pretty hard when traction is available and I'm assuming with your 4.10s and no DRs, you and traction probably don't get along to well.

You shouldn't have a problem with a bone stock auto LT1. You've probably got him by a good half second in the 1/4.

Traction in an LT1 is nearly impossible on street tires. Having 325lb ft of torque at 2500 rpm is a b*tch to launch without DR's.

maybe for a 6 speed but for an A4 my friend pulled 1.9's-2.0's in stock form all day.... now he is pulling 1.6-1.7's with DR's a tune and 3.73's


to the OP.. you have this by a large amount

forgot to mention that I just put on 315/35/17 Nitto DRs and he is on 16in. wheels with regular street tires

Planning on big mods to match that built rear? Or was that a measure of preventative maintance?
