Default 703rwhp GT500 and a slow Neon (vids)

Well, went back to the 1/8 again tonight. My second time at the strip and again my times sucked. Best run was 8.5@94mph (I know that would be in the 12's if it was a 1/4), best 60' was 2.1 (only happened once) and best trap was 94.8mph(!!!). I had 2 8.5 runs, 2 8.6's and a few slower. IDK what to say, my car sucks getting out the hole on street tires, haha. I deff won't be back at the track until I got my slicks and wot box. Also planning on getting S2 cams, meth and a retune to 27psi (22 now), etc. Can't imagine what it will be like launching on pretty much full boost.

I raced a built/SC SN95 Cobra on slicks, haha.... He said he was running 15 psi. He murdered me on the launch but once we both got going he couldn't open the gap anymore.

Raced a Civic that ran in the 10's and his friend came up to me and said I was the first one to beat him, etc...Hmmm.... Anyways he ended up racing the Cobra I raced.

Raced an 05 350Z with a few bolt-ons..I didn't see him the whole run...

One of my uncles friend brought his 2010 GT500. The guy said it's 703rwhp. Sexy car though he has been having trouble with his launch and tune.

A vid of the GT500 run..Mind you I have no idea who is talking in these vids...

Most of my runs I went a bit past the 1/8..it's a 1/4 track but they only run 1/8 now..

awesome runs.
that stripe/color combo is awesome. looks so much more at home on a mustang than a charger (where i see it most)

Nice runs. You gotta find a 1/4 mile track so you can really enjoy that turbo top end. The 2.1 sixty is real good for that car.

Yeah, I'm done for the season. Next year I will be ready. I will hit the 1/8 up a time or two to get used to the slicks and more power then make the trip with Stone to the 1/4 he goes to a few times.

I was trying to see in the vids if you were at the bridge or not.... then I read the end of your post, haha. My brother ran his car up there last night, it was "mustang night", but couldn't get it out of the 8.50's, even with a Hoosier....

Your car is gonna be siiiiick on the 1320!

Yeah, he PM'd me about it. He was going to try to bring it to Roxboro. What were his traps? I would bet considering my trap speed now and with the extra power and slicks I will have next year it "should" be able to pull mid to lowish 11's. I miss RWD though :/ haha

Nice runs, PD. Loving the vids too. Sorry I missed it, man. We definitely gotta get together on the 1/4 mile down here in Fayetteville. You won't regret it, it'll give you some room to really open that SRT up. They will stay open until it starts dropping down into the 30s.

Thanks, They only run 1/8 because some one had break failure before and the isn't really that much room to slow down after the 1/4.
