A whipple at 17 psi, 11.02@127 on the stock engine (with a borla catback) still on stock suspension.
Dont underestimate a twin screw. They are capable of better times than that vette was putting down.

Dood, honestly, if a car makes 600+rwhp, it should runs 9's without any problems. I don't know why Cobra's dyno 500rwhp and run slower than cars making 100+rwhp less than them. I haven't seem much of anyone run faster than 10.6x on SVTP.com.....that's Broke7 who is spraying his ported Eaton and cutting 1.5 short times. Which is damn impressive, if you ask me. Of course, he has a lot of money invested in his tune/power plant/and his suspension. He carries spare half shafts with him everytime he goes racing. The average person isn't going 10's in a Cobra, I don't care what you guys read online. The day I raced homedude making 486rwhp and trapped the same speed as him and outran him by .5 second ruined me. I would have been embarrased to be him. The pass I ran him was his quickest run, with a 2.0 short time. I was only making 367rwhp at the time.

This is a 6 cobra shootout in which 3 went 9s, 2 went 10s and 1 went in the 11s
On spray, a twinscrew cobra can run a C6 on spray, no problem.

Without spray? Without an aftermarket blower? Well, how about a 10 second run on a daily driver on the stock engine, with the stock supercharger. The power coming from a small pulley and few idlers to keep the belt tense and produce 23 psi through the eaton. That vette on spray can't keep up with this 4000 lb cobra.

The point i'm trying to make is, Cobras can WIN plenty of the time too. Despite what some of you guys think.
There are plenty of other examples in that and other magazines. Not every C6 with spray can take every cobra, especially if the cobra has spray, but even if it doesn't and has other mods such as the high boost in the example above the Cobra can still win, so get the facts straight. Read the articles, this is all before dipping into the cobra engine and beefing things up.

Hello again,correct 01gt I was referring to charger on that one(my bad). Boy you guys get really wound up pretty easy...LMAO ......I would love to see a stock LS1 run 12.xx anything. Now dont you think if any F-body would do that stock,ford would not sell any cobras???????????? DDUUHHHHHHH . I would say thats a damn tall order..I repeat I am a die hard chevy guy, BUT NOT HAPPENIN..

you are gonna hear it on the 12.xx stock f-body. these guys say that it happens all the time. you know what we see at g'ville. member when the black t/a LS1 automatic ran a 14.4 like 3 times in a row? (same day you ran 14.2) nice cool day, like 65 degrees, no humidity and what are we, like 50' above sea level? i heard their just as common in oklahoma as brothers marrying sisters......

Fact is they just don't run anythiny near a 12 here in Florida. Thats why it is so hard to believe when you say it. Show me videos but hell for all I know the thing could be mo dd ed up. Thats what our complaint is.
