Default 99GT: 31.543@47.30

no kidding, that was my worst run of the evening.
R/T LB3A ???? whats that mean? lol
60' 8.972
1/8 21.620@42.14
1/4 31.543@47.30

long story short, i killed the car off the line. any questions, just ask

NOW FOR MY REALLY DISSAPOINTING TIMES

1999GT 5sp, 4.10's, o/r H, catback, MT ET Street Radials
best previous time with everything except bald winter tires was
14.545@99.37 with a 2.226 60'

last night, my BEST time was as follows
60' 2.050
330 5.912
1/8 9.082@77.45
1000 11.805
1/4 14.086@99.09 THAT IS HORRIBLE, i couldnt launch worth **** with freaking nice DR's... best trap was in a race agains a STOCK srt-4,, here are our times. CLOSE RACE!!!!

*******ME*********SRT-4
R/T***.172********.145
60'***2.157*******2.155 <<< VERY close
330***6.028*******6.017
1/8***9.177*******9.138
MPH**78.32*******80.23......he had my by TWO MPH at the 1/8 but.....
1000**11.872*****11.825
1/4***14.131*****14.114
MPH**100.07*****99.63......i made up THREE MPH in the second 1/8th

WHO SAYS SRT's pull harder up high,,, lol

it was a freaking awesome race, he got me barely off the line, and 2nd i pulled ALMOST even, 3rd is supposed to be the srt's best gear by far, he BARELY pulled, and in fourth i was in the process of reeling him in when we crossed, damn, if it was a 1400 foot race i'd have had him...lol

any input on my horrible times or anythign else?

really, 14.08 and 14.13 arent Awful for 99mph...i would still think that you could work that 60' time down a bit more, and get into the high 13s..

how was the traction? were you still spinning? how hard were you coming out, if it wasnt spinning?

well, the one time i luanched at 5K (the last time,) i spun becuae i didnt get a good burn

and the rest of the times, from the 2.050 60, which was my best, to my 2.4ish 60 i think i was bogging,

the car would GO really soon when i jumped with NO spin, then it woudl slow way down, and take a second,, so ive got no idea what my deal is

other than with a 1.7ish 60' i'd have had 13.6** with NO problem

well, if you can get a 1.7 60', i think that youre going to turn alot better than 13.6..i ran 12.6 with a 1.7 60'....dont get discouraged...its there, you just have to find it...lol...once you get that launch down, the rest will come right to you, but i know that isnt giving you a world of advice...

i know that guys here love the ET Street, but i sure dont...at what pressure did you have them set?

Not that bad man.I only ran a 14.2xx@100.xxx ......I look at it this way it can only get better from here right? You got tires that hook,so now just concentrate on making more power! heads and cam time?or squeeze?

How do you like the 4.10 gears? I have been trying to decide and after everyone telling me here to get 4.10s I'm going to get them. Anyone know what what kind of time I will drop with the gears?

Did have the traction control off? I know it's a dumb question but I have seen people do it. Other wise I think you need to come out of the hole harder, you have the right tire. The other thing to consider is the air, what waas the DA? I am not a fan of corrected times, but if you knew what the DA was it might explain a few thngs.

i got tires that CAN hook, but i didnt hook right,,,

i tried a bunch of different pressures ROTM... i think i started at 25, and then a few at 20's,and the final one at 17ish

the best one was at the 20psi

i did some quick math the see how the .1 off your 60' related to .2 off your ET and here is what my 60' cuts did

i cut .176 off my 60' and that equated to .459 off my ET... so that means in my situation
i got more than .2 for every .1 on my 60'

so if i can cut my 60 down to 1.7 flat, thats more than .3 off my 60' which should be more than .6 off my ET,, but i dont know if the equation would stay even the whole way down through the 13's,, i dont konw, i can not imagine my car isnt making enough power to get off the line, dumping that bish at 5K on hot tires shoudl take care of that,,, any other words of advice?

you really like those tires JD? i had ET streets for a while amidst my many sets of hoosiers, and unless hoosier goes out of business, I can not see myself ever going away from the QTPs...

another thing, 72, how many times have you been down the track?
