thats the old MKS...this is the one im driving:
It is mechanically the same as the SHO...but i would expect that it is heavier than your average SHO because it has every bell and buzzer imaginable. heated/cooled seats, dual moonroof, etc. I went on a 300 mile trip this weekend and along the way, the big lincoln stayed fender to fender with an older M3 up to 120 or so and i beat the **** out of a C4 but thats not much to brag about.
also, for those who care...i got around 26-27mpg during the highway portion of my drive (200 miles or so).
I had an EcoBoost F150 last week and I was pretty impressed with that as well...but its nothing like the MKS. ford has done a great job making the MKS a really impressive luxury car and the fact that they packed it with the 365hp EcoBoost and this AWD system has made for a great luxury choice. i had a CTS witht he 3.6 last year and while that motor is no Ecoboost, I really enjoyed that car but for the price, the MKS blows it away.

That pic Mach posted is the MKZ, actually. The older MKS had more squinted headlights and a little more of a jelly bean shape.
With that fuel mileage, about what rpms were you at and at what speed? Just curious if the 6 speed has a low 6th gear.

Yea, I know it's the z, it's the one linked in that article.
The mks' are rounder, and possibly sexier.
I wish they would make an svt or sho fusion with the ecoboost and NOT load it up with 25k in options.
Fusion sport + ecoboost = funz

throwing drivetrain co components, power, torque and everything that a "performance" orientated consumer would buy and going back the the roots of Cadillac and Lincoln on what they are about.... as far as fit and finish, luxury, daily drivability, quality etc etc etc which would you choose the MKS ecoboost or the CTS-V?
