Hey guys havnt posted up in a while, jus been busy as hell.

Anyways, got a chance to go for a joy ride this morning.

Heading back home I get behind a 99-02ish Camaro with dual exhaust and a nice rumble. We are waiting to turn left. We turn and I get over in the right lane and come up even with him. As I come up I hear hes keeping it in 2nd gear so I know hes down to run.

I pull even and down shift to second gear. I put up 3 fingers and he acknowledges. We're going about 40 mph, I honk it off.

1..2...3 We're off. He jumps out about a fender ahead of me as I ****** 3rd gear. I recover that fender and put about 1 or 2 cars on him as I wind out 3rd. Soon after he gives up and I slow down.

I throw a thumbs up out the window as he comes up even again and I ask him what motor hes running. He says its a stock LS1 but it sounded pretty loud for 'stock' but I didnt question it (mabye just exhaust? IDK).

He says hes having clutch issues though and hopes to have it fixed soon.

Here comes the funny part... He then says "Is that a GT500?"

I chuckle alittle bit and say "Nah man, its a V6"

His eyes got alittle big and he says "damn that sh*ts quick for a V6"

I then tell him what Ive done to it and I guess he didnt feel as bad.

I did that this weekend. I raced a built srt4 and lost my clutch.......

No shame in breaking... it's when you run them with everything you've got and get spanked that it hurts the ego.

That is true, however it is getting a Monster Stage 3 clutch next week. After I get that installed, it is back to fighting the good fight.
