Default 09 focus vs New edge v6

I was driving home from work earlier today. Ended up at a stoplight in the left lane. After the light the right lane ends. There are a few cars behind me and none next to me. A blue 99 or 2000 v6 flies around everybody and gets next to me. I look over and it looks pretty much stock. Driver looks like a tool lol

So the light turns green, I get the launch on him and hold him at my door through first. Hit second and pull on him until he's at the back of my car. I hit the brakes because there's a van up ahead and the other idiot decides to pass us both on the shoulder.

I'm assuming it would've gotten much worse at higher speeds for the pushrod vs my DOHC. Judging by his brake lights at the next few intersections I'd guess he was an auto.

Nice kill dude! Amazing kill actually, considering he has like 40hp and like 60 or so tq on you (not 100% sure on those lol). Seems curb weight is what saved you.

What does a focus run in the 1/4?

The torque-monster was probably missing some since the car is like 11-12 years old.

Good kill!

Yeah, my car weighs in around 2650 or so, the mustangs gotta weigh at least 500 lbs more.

I've took it to the track once this past summer, got a 16.9 with a 2.8 60'.
Mag times are all 16.1 - 16.3 so high 15's shouldn't be out of the question if I become an expert at launching on a drag strip lol

When I used to have my 2000 vert 3.8 I used to put bus lengths on little kids riding big wheels in the neighborhood.

I ran a procharged 94-98 last time I was at the track in the psd. I actually felt bad putting many lengths on him but I don't think he was a good driver (only running low 15s)
