Stone, compaired to my 1/8 runs that I had before my mph was off 2-3 mph but the car wasn't pulling as hard on the track as it always has on the street.... IDK I gotta mess with it and figure it out but even tho its not close to what I was aiming for I got all new pb's and I'm happy with that!
I thought it was. Still impressive as hell either way. Slicks are awesome for launching, but do cause a lot of drag up top. It would be intresting to see both you and your brothers car on street tires or a DR just to see how much impact the slicks have on the trap speed.

This was my best pass on the street tire. Not too much difference here, but I did trap a best of 104.5..... on one of my two 14sec passes

Decent rolling shots...

Nice 60 on our run. Did you happen to have the drink from our $31 lunch in your car? .. I did:{

I don't have previous times to compare but it seemed everyone was having trouble as far as running slower et/mph. I know on mine and 97's run there was a nasty headwind.

So the tires cost you about 1-2 mph. Thats not as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely worth the trade off for low 13s.

Nice work!
Yuup, I hope I can come close to 97's time on my next trip to the track with my new tires. Good job guys, kinda cool seeing a whole bunch of cars from this section hit the track together.

As PD said the later we got in to the day the wind really picked up. There was probably a 15-20 MPH headwind on his last three passes (with the bias ply tires). I know my MPH dropped from 105+ to 103+ on my last couple of passes before I let 97 try my tires out.

A headwind that strong is def a killer. Maybe next time it'll be a calmer day.
