You would rather tune for the fuel in your actual tune? You can't swap tunes anytime you want can you? Why not run a wet kit?

I could buy a controller to switch back and forth and/or do a wet kit, but Greddy is practically giving me his dry kit. I'll just pull some timing and fatten it up. I may add a fuel solenoid and nozzle to convert it over to a wet system later. Just trying hard not to sink anymore money into this car.

doesn't the pcm add the fuel necessary when you spray prior to the maf? I know there's tricks for the ls pcm's where you can ground a certain wire and it changes the tune, not sure if it just changes set timing values or if you can also change fuel trims as well.

why do you think I'm giving him the kit so cheap Now we just have to hope that his trans/rear goes out soon and your rear does the same, so you can build them and we'll all be totally ready to beat the **** out of our cars!!!!

Haha yeah no kidding! I'm hoping the rear will hold if I only hit from like 2nd gear rolls lol.

It will add fuel on its on pre MAF, just want to make sure its getting plenty of fuel. It may not even need to be fattened up, but its definitely going to have to have some timing pulled. He can tune it do do whatever. HPTuners can pretty much do whatever you can think up.

It'll hold. Just stay away from hard launches and power shifting too much. Mine should never go as long as I stay with the stall I'm using...the trans not so much!
