150 shot 01 Cobra Vs H/C LS1 Rematch
#12
Sounds like it was the guys first time at the track on spray with a stick car, deff not the easiest thing to go out and run some personal bests with. My old gt with a 150 shot Prolly made 375ish at the tires thru the auto and ran a 12.1@111, but that was an auto car on slicks, sure makes the track a lot easier. I bet the cobra has high 11's in the mid teens in it all day once he gets more seat time. Stones been to the track a lot, almost seems like he lives there, hard to compare times between the two cars.

Greddy and Crash pretty much summed it up. Only other thing I would add is that Machs are indeed a bit quicker than the 01 Cobras mod for mod. Andrew's Cobra for sure has 11s in it with enough seat time. He is a street guy, hardly ran at the track, not like I have anyway. So comparing our track times is a lost cause. Plus I'm running a stalled auto on tires that honestly a monkey could pull a decent 60' in, lol. Anyway, Explosive your Mach on a 100 shot will be a fukn beast, trust me. You and I would/should be one hell of a run if it makes you feel any better. I do highly suggest you get a better stall and tune it to cooperate though. When my stall locks down, its like a 50-75 shot, no kidding.

Stalls are where its at. You don't feel them until you get set-up for them though. I wasn't impressed with mine at all until I threw some DRs on and hit the track. It caught me totally off guard when it launched. I'm still not even stalling it up very high cause it will smoke these DRs if I do. The launch accompanied with the much smaller/lighter aftermarket stall (stocker for me was 14", Vigilante is 9"), TQ multiplication it provides (went from 350-360 RWTQ to 400+), and the ability to lock it up top makes for one hell of a mod. Its worth it if you can swing it.

Finally I can reply lol
What is up everyone, first off, I got raped.
Now I have run my car at the track probably 30+ times, only about 4 or so on nitrous though so I am no stranger to the track. I even went today and sprayed it but blew a hole in my main n2o line.
Car made 384/430 at 850-900psi and 401/470. At the time of the race I was around 900psi and after a few back to back runs I was down about 50 psi.
Everything aside Trey's car is impressive to say the least. He has that thing set up right. I will get my revenge one day though.

Crash, the car is going to be boosted eventually. Probably a procharger but at the moment I dont have the funds. The nitrous did not come on the car. During the motor build I wanted it to be faster so I opted for n2o since it was a 1/4 of the cost to supercharge it.
