Was minding my bidness when a camaro comes up on me from behind. I'm always down to go and I usually beat local ls cars (still haven't bumped into mrt) anyways first run was a wash do to traffic with him leading. Second run was about a 40 roll, I took he hit and on the hit I would pull and suddenly that thing would just stand up and fly. Ran maybe to 80ish I'd say he had 2 cars on me by then. Maybe. Pulled into gas station. Big and littles, exhaust dumped at axle healthy cam and lots of red suspension parts. He told me the cam specs says fast intake and heads are ext. Expect many more runs with this car. His co pilot had video i believe

I got out of my car and asked if he was spraying because of how hard it would suddenly just scream and pull you know how motors sound when the spray hits, and after each run there was a cloud of excess fuel from and and he goes nope cam only. Never mind all the other obvious mods lol

He is actually incorrect by using the "cam only" phrase, even in the LS world lol. With that FAST intake, he is technically an I/C car now

Good run though man. If I ever get up that way to run Greddy, etc I definitely want to get lined up with your Mach. Sounds like a stout one!

He's pretty young I'd guess 19-20. I know his last car was on spray. Just the way the motor would instantly scream it sounded like nitrous and it was running fat

I've always been able to tell. It suddenly jumps and takes off. Very noticeable. Might have a video of my car that you can hear it on

Hmmm people actually build a car and go to all the work of installing a cam without doing the intake? STUPID! anyway. Cam only Cars are actually very quick when set up right so I'm thinking the kid just doesn't know what he's talking about! A late model GM car with even a 75 shot + cam would have spanked you badly so I'd believe him if he said no spray.
