Default Cobalt SS vs 2015 Mustang GT

Some local runs I recorded between a full bolt on/tuned Stock Turbo Cobalt SS and 3 different Mustang GTs.

2015 Mustang GT - Stock
2013 Black Mustang GT - Boss Mani, Exhaust, Stock Tune
2013 Blue Mustang GT - Intake, Exhaust, Tuned.

That should be enough to make you want to jump off a bridge. Getting beat by a little wrong wheel drive, 4 banger Chevy with mismatched parts on it.

I'm not surprised the SS pulled the two stock tuned cars, but I really expected the tuned Mustang to put a couple cars on the Balt. Good runs though.

My last street race was against a Cobalt SS, and after seeing that vid, I'll say it was stock, as it wasn't even close. But I didn't know a tune did so much to them. Fun to watch though, cabin fever is sinking in up here.

Yea every turbo car is like that. My SRT-4 gained 50HP from mopars crappy tune. And look what they are getting out of the ne ecoboosts.

My 2009 caliber SRT4 gained 34whp and 39wtq just from a mopar stage 1 ECU swap. Dynoed 264whp and 263wtq stock and then dynoed 297 and 302 at the wheels with ms1. All for around $350. Very cheap power!

Why didn't they actually race ? None of this roll racing crap. Most of the challenge of a drag race is putting the power to the ground. What, does John Force start his races at 200 mph ?

Why are you so mad? Chill out. All 4 cars have been to the drag strip and the Cobalt has a faster time than all but the Bolt on/tuned 5.0.

Damn Buster, I thought it was pretty well understood roll racing is perfectly acceptable in this section. I honestly can't tell you the last time I ran from a dig, lol.

Bokeo, what did that SS run through the 1/4? I've heard their launch control works pretty good.

Well now that I own a track only car I plan to talk way more smack on roll racing and wrong wheel drive cars.
