correct me if i'm wrong...the mach 1 was pretty much an upgraded version of the 99-01 cobra's...the termi's are a beast all to theirselves...ford too alot more pride in them and built them to destroy road competition at that time
I don't know if i would call the mach an upgrade. The only real difference is the seats, shaker, bumper, and one came with a solid rear and the other came with an IRS.
no...the 07-10 gt500s did but the newer 11gt500 is now an aluminum engine...i wanna think the pistons may still be forged..not for sure...but the 05-11 gt's are not forged

Does that mean the 2011 gt 500 and the 05+ gt can't take as much power as the termi?
if u want your 05-2010gt to hold up for sure..most mustang guys dont go over 460-480 to rwhp...my termi has around 450rwhp and its still good for tons more power....if i get a kenne belle its good to around 700rwhp...i've heard stories of guys turning 1000rwhp on twin turbo setups on the termi...the bottoms of the 3v engines cant handle that much power and stay together...i had an 05gt and its nowhere near the same as this termi....its like comparing a vette to a camaro

The block is aluminum to save weight. There are still cast iron cylinder sleeves. The rotating assembly is still forged steel
