Default [El Paso] Looking for help on spring install 2011 Mustang GT

I just picked up a new Mustang GT/CS. It's been several years since I've lowered a car, and I've never lowered a muscle car before (I never lowered my '10 Camaro SS, '04 CTS-V, and the '03 Corvette Z06 I had you just did it with bolts no need for aftermarket parts), so wondering if someone wanted to help out.

I'd provide everything, including the beer (or beverage of your choice) and food. I live on the far east side of town.

Four hours by yourself, three with friend. The video shows the fast easy way to do it.

You've got one. I'm just in Georgia. Seriously, a jack, jack stands , sockets, wrenches, and a spring compressor is all you need to do it safely. Auto parts stores will rent you a compressor for free as long as you return it. I'm replying to your posts on that other site as well.

I appreciate the help. I will try to do it myself, I just prefer to have others with me that are more knowledgable. I'm more of a "see and learn" kinda guy than a "read the instructions"

Welcome Matt... I was the same way when I decided to do mine. If you replace the shocks/struts at the same time you do the springs, it will be easier. But it really should only take a few hours.

Thanks for the welcomes! I don't plan on doing the shocks/struts. I don't usually keep my cars long enough for them to go bad, nor do I really track the car. lol

I will attempt to give it a go. I might ask a mechanic from my unit if they want to tag along.

Oh, do you need to replace the strut mounts (the aftermarket ones are like 60 bucks) in the front or no?
