I thought they supposedly lightened the car by 400 pounds?

Looks like a Ford Fusion front end. I can't imagine they would design the Mustang that similar to the Fusion. Look how the pony is set deep inside the grill opening. Doesn't make sense to me.

Not written in stones but I hope it comes true...
Looking at that front end though, it ain't where they gonna trim much weight.

That would be cool if it was that much lighter...then I think the V6 and turbo 4 models would tip the scales right near 3000 pounds, no? And if those trim levels alone handled better than the BRZ/Cayman then that would make for one hot selling car.

a 400lb lighter V6 would be a nice little monster.

I saw a Fusion yesterday and thought exactly the same thing. For now, I'm going to hold off any judgement. Just not enough information to be sure.

Thanks! I'd never seen the Boss stripes in anything but black, so I thought I'd go for something a little different.

If that really is the new Mustang then at least it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I hated the 10's when they came out, mostly the rear ends. But over time I came to like them, I suspect I'll like the new one eventually too.

Still prefer the 13/14's.

Hmm....if you think about it, the 6th generation Mustang seems more like an evolution of the Sn95 generation with hints of the S197 generation added.

The front is more angular like the Sn95 edge, with the elongated head lights, and narrow stance.
