its looks like the fusion, and Taurus! but so many people here and every where else said the rendering don't look like that just wait ford to debut the car. well I told you so its coup version of both those cars! I've said it before I will say it again you can keep that over priced run of the mill car I'll keep my 07 gt or trade it for a Shelby. something that will have more value then and plain gt!!!

Lol. Out of all these things, it freaking looks like a 2014 Mustang. Look at the side by sides. Anyone who this this looks like a Fusion is simply wrong.

Also,
This would be the best Shelby GT500/GT350/Mach1 design of all time. Simply beautiful.

I wonder what the Base 2015 GT cost will be, I was in HS back in the late 1980's and we graduated HS, most of us bought new cars, I went with a 350 Iroc back then but, a buddy of mine went with a new 1988 Mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed and it cost a little over $14,000...if my memory is correct, just for the heck of it, I goggled a money inflation calculator and I input the info, 14K back in 1988 would equal 27K today, wouldn't it be nice if we could get a new striped down 2015 Mustang 5.0 6 speed mustang for 27K, where did ford go wrong or is the extra cost of safer construction, airbags and a bazillion sensors that skyrocket the costs, IDK, would be nice to have a 2015 stripped down Mustang 5.0 for under 27K?....they would sell a million a year!?

Anyone who thinks that doesn't look like a Fusion is simply wrong.

So picking one particular styling cue does not constitute the whole car being deemed looking like a Fusion. By that logic, since the car has for wheels, it also looks like an Aventador, a Kia sorento, and a Dodge Ram.

Yes, it has the hexagonal shape of the Ford global grille, but the materials, length, headlights, height and proportions are completely different. Look at the whole car.

That's an awful way to counter the argument that the Fusion looks similar to the S550 Mustang especially against the provided photos of the front ends of both cars. At best you could argue that looks are strictly subjective or in other words, agree to disagree.

In my opinion, it does look similar to the Fusion, and I don't have an issue with it myself as the Fusion is a great looking car. Of course the other aspects of the cars are not the same, but they both look similar from the front...and that's not a bad thing.

I picked exactly as many styling cues as you did, and made exactly the same blanket statement you made. You're now refuting your own claim. My work here is done.

Could also be said the fusion took inspiration form earlier Mustangs too. Look at the foxbody mustang it does not have the side lines like every other mustang has.... I like the foxbody Mustangs but they don't really look like a Mustang. They got a horse on it makes it a Mustang...

Nobody is going to mistake a Mustang GT for a Fusion. This new car is rapidly growing on me. There are certain angles that are pure Mustang. I look forward to the next auto-show to see it up close.

I think I need to start saving....
