Opinions on this new stang?

Do we all really think there will be a bunch of bugs/issues with the 2015? I know every car tends to have issues, but I feel like Ford HAS to nail this or they stand to suffer a lot. Did the 2005 Mustang have a lot of issues? My first mustang was a 2012... which unfortunately has issues.
There is a fun factor to being the only person in town owning something.. but if you're right, it ain't no fun when the car is broken somehow. Saving for 2 years and getting a BOSS (if it releases) in 2016 sounds fun.

define "refinement." I don't think the new one is that much more "refined" than the current car. The styling is modern, but IMO that's what had to happen. The current car has played out the retro thing; the '66-'70 era was the only one worth a nod back to. No one wants a modern take on a '71-'73, or (gack) a Mustang II.

People groaned about the 2005 when it was introduced, calling it a boat and that it was shaped like a brick. It sold very well.
People complained about the 2010, unanimously focusing on the rear end. It sold pretty well also.
I personally am not a fan of the 2013 front end, reminds me of a charger, but you bet your *** I'd settle for a 2013 Boss!
So, ultimately, I think the nitpicking and "OOOOOH, YOU'RE RUINING THE MUSTANG!!!" will quickly disappear come summer

I have to agree with Pascal (even though I'm "young folk"), they have too much tech crap on the interiors. Stereo, power windows and seats....what else do you need!?
And 40ish K for a 2015. That's too rich for my blood. I don't have a garage yet, so my soul would slowly die as I watch from the window as it gets covered in snow/rain/ice and rusts immediately..

About the cost factor, for me, you'd pay 40K for a 2014 GT Premium w/ a bell or two today. If the new base GT is supposed to outperform the current model in pretty much every way, and have better tech than the current model, what's the big gripe about the base being around 40K (which I really doubt).
The Mustang has always been about bang for your buck. I still think you'll get that with the S550. Ford mentioned it was benching against M3s and 911s. Talk about the holy grail in my book.

Drove past a new fusion today in Freeway traffic, focused on a side view of the front... made me throw up a little in my mouth. Whatever the rationale, the designers screwed the pooch on the front end of both the Fusion and the new Mustang, IMHO...

as for your opinion, it's whatever. we're all different in preferences. i personally hate the fox body mustangs (YES I SAID IT). hideous cars. i know they're amazing for modding, and making into street monsters, but they just look so awful. that's my opinion, and i frequently feel like i'm in the minority.
i personally like the curves of the 2015, and the interior looks marvelous. i'm also excited about a car that might do something more that go fast in a straight line. is this the talk of a heretic in a mustang forum? DEALWITHIT
