S197 GT does 12.2 with intake+exhaust only?

The OP in a thread calling out all R/T owners claimed to only have ARH Longtube Headers, a C&L Racer Intake and a Tune. And eventually admits to having M/T P295/45-17 Drag Radials.. I believe he is an auto and claiming to be running stock 3.31s.
The R/T driver has just Shorty Headers and a modified stock intake and ran 12.5
I'm wondering.. Do you guys think it's possible for the S197 GT owner with the above mods to run that time. If not what mods do you think he is hiding?

its unlikely IMO with 3.31s with a bigger gear yes its possible there are a few guys n/a I know in the 12.2s with bolt-ons only, I'd think the guy would also need a TC

Keep in mind he's only "admitting" to having ARH LT's, C&L intake, 3.31 gears, and a SCT tuner. Hasn't said anything yet about exactly what tune he was running. He also had 295/45/R17 drag radials on at the time.

I agree.. but nobody else seems to question him about it.. I have no idea how much HP shorty headers are supposed to add to those cars.. but figure it should be a low 13 sec car (and I believe he is the guy claiming a 13.1 stock run) so.. shaving off atleast .6 secs with just shorty headers? Hmm....

Shorties are an improvement on most anything, but technically, a 3 hp gain is considered an improvement, lol! I wouldn't think he picked up anymore than 7 horses from those shorties, and honestly thats a stretch without being accompanied by some sort of tune. The new 5.7s are pretty stout though.

The R/T has a tune too.. sorry forgot to mention it.
The GT guy hinted at having headwork done now.. so.. bleh.. guy wants to conceal mods whatever.. I never understood that mentality. It's not like they had money riding on it.

Nobody questions 10secdodge on that board but there was some discussion over here when I first posted his 13.2 stock run in that R/T. That was several months back now. I think he even came over and got involved and a few people from here ended up posting back over there. Supposedly he has let people inspect his car and they vouched for him over on challengertalk. There is another person or two who claim to have achieved similar results. Is it BS or not? I don't know it's the internet and you can't be there to see for yourself. If you believe GeneK's run was for real then it's hard to call him a liar I guess.
