Default ZR1 VS. GT2 video inside.

Only guys with foreign accents could come up with this nonsense. Note the 1/4 mile times for the ZR1 in the video.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

It always seems that the Europeans try and make American cars look bad, whether it's Top Gear, or some other show from the UK

horrible 1/4 time for the ZR1... this video is more appropriate to its capabilities:

That was about the most set up race in auto journalism history.

It sounded like the ZR1 bogged on the launch in that Brit video, that and with about the same drag coefficient as the GT2 it has a 100hp advantage...so I doubt they were pushing it. You'll notice in the 2nd video from MT that the ZR1 loses the launch to the GT2 and then walks right past it.

Amazing the difference between the motor trend video and the Autocar. 12 @125! that's Z06 numbers not ZR1.

Some comments on the youtube MT video are ... not surprising I guess. It's interesting that the ZR1 walked away from the GT2 in the MT video, yet couldn't catch the GT2 in the OP's source.

No one can honestly say that in the Brit video, the ZR1 wasn't being pushed. Probably a bad launch compared to the GT2's launch is what sealed the deal; notice the 'trap' speeds of the ZR1 were higher than the GT2 at the standing mile marker.
