Default GT vs. Cobalt SS/SC

Hey everyone, havent posted up in here for a while. But anyways: Me and a buddy at work are always talking cars. But he had the 02 GT that had a DSS stroker motor with a D1sc procharget pushing around 18#'s and I beat him 3 out of 3 from 30-40ish rolls up to 120 or so. He sold that car now he has a Cobalt SS/SC with intake, catback, pushing 22psi. We have been joking around about this race for a while now but we might get it done this weekend. Plan on doing 1 from a dig and 2 rolls from 30ish or so. He just picked up some new tires I cant remember what kind, there werent dr's. What do you guys think?? Oh yeah and the kicker is that I will be on my stock tires and my clutch slips for a second or two when I go WOT... haha yeah I might call it off until I get a new clutch... Thoughts??

Is it safe to push 22psi on just intake/exhaust on those things?

It would have to have an upgraded S/c to push that kind of boost. But still your talking about an 11 second car against a 12 second car. How bad is the clutch slipping? Is it turning you into a 12 second car also?

Its slipping not sure how much if I would stay in it all the way to 6500, I dont take it over 4k and its already slipping. I'd say its at least put me into the high 11's if not 12's maybe worse since I dont know how the clutch will hold to upper rpm power. Even if it has put me to about the same as his car, I'm pretty sure he cant drive that cobalt any better than the GT so I should be good. But the race definitely isnt happened this weekend (weather).

Can you run 22psi with the stock blower?
