I hate to say it, but that GTO should rape you bad.

Case in point: My buddy has a 2006 cammed GTO (puts down around 425 rwhp) and him and i are a dead heat race with me spraying...my numbers are in my signature. Then there's my bro's 2006 Mustang gt. Full boltons, 4.10's, and Comp Cams (he puts down around 330 rwhp). When we race (me juicing again) i beat him really bad.

Well, he's got you by 100~rwhp and I'd imagine a crazy power curve with a heads/cam setup. From a roll, it should definitely favor him since that takes the driver mod out of the equation. If he can drive, it should favor him all around. You'll probably jump out on him but he should suck you in.

Looks like the GTO has more mods then the Stang. Stock VS stock a GTO will trap 2 to 4 MPH higher than a stang. The gap is just going to get wider with the mods. Hope the goat driver really sucks!

The weight difference will not offset the power difference...not even close.

especially since the GTO's weigh a bunch less than most people think.... mine weighed 3800lbs and some change WITH ME IN IT with the only weight reduction being the spare and spare jack/equipment removed from the trunk.... meaning, it's very easy to make one weigh LESS than a terminator
