new edge vs 2010
With the few mods that I currently have, how do you guys think I would hold up against a new 2010 gt? I'd think from either a dig or a first gear roll I might be able to get a jump but I could see the 2010 reeling me in once it got past 60 or so. What do you guys think?

This might help answer your question. Make sure you watch the whole video. Notice how the New Edge gt kept up to the Mach compared to the 2010 gt.

He's about 1 second faster than you and 5 plus mph quicker, stock for stock. So going from there, I'd say intake, tune, gears, headers, and drags would give you more then enough of an edge (no pun intended) to beat the stock 10 by a car length or 2

I think it will be close through the first couple gears but he will start to walk you slowly but surely.
OP's car does not have full boltons and probably makes 20-30 less rwhp then the car in the vid.
Stock new edge vs stock '10 is about a 1/2 sec difference with similar drivers, maybe slightly more then that but not a second.

new edge's around 14.2 (averages)
new 2010's around 13.3 (averages)
to beat him, he'd need to make up about a second worth of time in the quarter right?

Yeah, it's goona be much harder for a 2010 gt to reach a 13.3 than it would be for a new edge to reach a 14.2 IMO. Despite what the magazines say.
When my buddy got his 08 gt manual (bone stock) we went out and ran few times, and (with current mods in sig) and got him pretty damn good each time. The 2010 has 15 more hp, so i don't think they would be a problem either...at least for a full bolt on, tuned, and geared new edge gt.
