So my girlfriend has a friend who drives a G8, and her boyfriend talks **** all the time about how he could take my Mustang with her G8. I dont know anything about the car, and I have a C&L with Brenspeed 93 performance tune and GT takeoffs. I dont want to say anything back to him because Im not sure if I can actually take him, do any of you guys have a G8 or have you raced one?

Check out the street/strip section. Those guys are experts when it comes to these things. I heard those g8's are pretty sweet, and that's an understatment.

I have rode in the back of a G8 once, it was pretty sluggish feeling but it could have just been the driver.

does the G8 have the 8 in it or is it just a six... i know the 8 has a whole lot of go and if youre driving a sixxer then you may want to think twice about running with that one

G8s got an 8 cyl and he will eat the pants off you.
And beat your V6 to boot....
Race him for pinks and get back to us on the outcome...

I would say that he probably has you man. While his car is way heavier than yours (4000 vs 3300)...pre-mod you start with 210 and he's starting with a 361HP 6.0L engine (which is very mod friendly btw).


I know a guy with a turbo G8 who regularly whips up on 03/04 Cobras!

Okay so I did a little google search, I have always taken the guys word on the car being a G8. I have only seen the car once and it was only very breif but now that I have looked on google, I am pretty sure the body panels arent a G8 but a G6. Imagine that..... What are the chances of me taking him now?
