Default What do you think the car will run?

Well, It sucks that I got this car right around the end of the season, and I am already pretty worked up to throw some bolts on and count days to hit the tracks :word:

I will only have C&L intake, custom tune, midpipe, axle backs, 4.10 gears and drag radials. Everything else will be stock.

Normally I am pretty good at guessing what the car should run, but I need to make a couple passes with those mods to determine what kind of times the car has in it. In this case, I really can't predict.

So, what do you think the car will run?

Doubt it will run a mid 12 without Bolton behind the wheel. I ran what is in my sig with those exact mods, minus the mid-pipe. My car was dying on launch for some reason though. It would lift, drop the front back down like it was cutting fuel for about 2 seconds, then regain. Weird I know.

Yeah man, bogging off the line just kills ones times. 2.0 60' with bodding and u ran a 13 flat. I bet if you could roll her off the line pretty decent, lets say a 1.7 60' she could see mid 12s.

So how did u like the 4.10s?

Yea, if it would've held in there on the launch, it probably would've dipped on down there. I was leaving at 4500-5k believe it or not, on street tires. No spin. Fayetteville drag strip does a really good job with the prep though. The 4.10s were awesome man. They made all the difference in the world. I was running some pretty heavy 18" stock wheels, so the 4.10s definitely didn't feel as aggressive as the did in my Mach, but the car needed them bad. Here's an in car vid of her at the track, just skip on over to the 40 second mark.

Thanks man, he was pretty loud. I hate cars that run open headers, but that seems to be the kool thing to do down here.

That sucks you've got to wait so long to find out. We don't get a lot of snow here, so the tracks usually stay open until the temps start consistently staying in the 30s. They close up for 2-3 months max, in other words.

What kind of tires are you planning on running?

since you went 13.4 bone stock and since added all of those mods i think you'll be dipping deep into the 12s.. might even see a 12.5... more likely a 12.7 will be my prediction though

good competition against a stock termi right???

I think it should be a drivers race with a stock terminator.

Just noticed the drag radials in your op. Definitely should have some middish to higher 12s in it. I'm going to predict a 12.70 average, 108-109 mph. 12.5-12.6 glory pass?
