I don't buy it. You got a bolt on 2002 Z28 automatic, 4k stall, claiming to leave at a "soft" 1.6 second 60' (on a stock 4l60e transmission, not exactly a strong selling point). I had a Z28 with almost the exact mods. It made 350 at the tire, and even with a 1.7 60', it only went 12.7 at 109. It was a 98 with inferior heads and intake mani, but those two drawbacks don't justify the 1 second gap here. My question.... is this craigslist guy full of it, or is this plausible and I just suck?

I used to have a 98 Z28, and it was great and all, but i'm not buying this either.

my LT1 was 382rwhp and only hit low 12's. my trap was higher and i had the stock stall though too.

Yeaaa, I didn't think any of that sounded right. Just wanted to double check myself and run it by you guys.

i think the times not right. but my buddies t/a has 327whp and kept up ok with my '95. I only put a couple cars on it, so it could possibly trap 110-112. it's only bolt ons/3.73/3k stall

Several possibilities here that maybe you could rule out.

Consider... Stock c5 z06 making roughly 350rwhp has run 11s in perfect conditions on a 1.7-1.9 60ft.

At 3100lbs it's possible to pull it off on street radials.... I missed his dyno numbers? He had a number of the tittle but they could be mustang dyno numbers. That car honestly should be making more than 350rwhp on a dyno jet and I know there was an 02 car with headers, dr and no tune that went 12.2 @ 114mph not long ago. I honestly can see this happening on the 40 degree air claimed (da would have been well under sea level).

yep.. he had negative DA from the sound of it. I think that is a really low ET For his trap, I really don't think he has any more in it like he claims.


also, a tune only 5.0 is faster so who cares?

all the 5.0s i've seen in the 11s are trapping 116-118...
