5.6L Nissan Titan talking crap

Sorry if I am unclear: My point:
05-09 Mustang GT (STOCK) Mid 13 second car with a decent driver.
So ***IF*** a Tuned, Full exhaust, Cammed Titan breaks into the 13s, It would be just starting to poke into STOCK Mustang territory (meaning close 1/4 mile times).
OP has a modified Mustang GT, and the Titan in question is most likely stock. So this really is a no brainer, but ***IF*** this Titan has the above mentioned modifications, it is still a not much of a race based off the modifications the OP has.

What is it with trucks lately? One thread about a Duramax engined truck in racers bench forum, this thread, and my own experience over the weekend where some lifted Chevy Silverado wanted to run (had his woman with him so go figure)
First red light no problem. I tend to accelerate with purpose (but not like a bat out of hell). I hate having cars ride alongside me. So i'm brisk off the line and accelerate until I hit 5 mph over the speed limit before cruising. Most people stay in my rearview since they drive in groups. But this always attracts the people that think I want to race.
Second red light he matched my acceleration (again, I'm no where near floored) and I didn't think anything of it. Figured he was just being annoying.
Third light he jumped it and floored it. I reeled him in after I realized what he was doing (his rear bumper was at my front) and I put a car on him before letting off at 60 in a 50.
4th light he sat with his bumper at my rear quarter panel instead of lining up like the first three lights. When the light turned green he waited for me to go before going and then accelerated slowly (with the group).
To the Op, A Titan weighs 1000lbs more than you do, has lower gears (made for towing, not racing) and peters out after 2nd gear in acceleration. So he may get you off the line since his weight will give him a traction advantage even with crappy tires but unless he's modded...bye bye Titan.

I raced a Harley F150 in my 03 GT once and won. You will not have a problem with this truck...Tell him to put some money on it...and TAKE IT...
