Default Me vs stone, finally gonna happen

Got the cobra all ready for mustang week, she's running excellent. No idea on dyno numbers, i'd assume around 475whp as it's got a email tune. I plan on putting it on a mobile dyno somewhere in myrtle beach so i should know before we actually race. As long as we have the time I'm hoping for a couple rolls and a couple digs. I'll be on street tires, so will he. Me being a 6speed I'll let him choose the roll speeds??

I think all races will be close, i would like to see me pulling on him from the rolls, but dont expect to pull more than a car or two. from a dig, I dont really know, I see him hooking much better than me( my car spins in anything from first, but once in second it's traction city) so it'll come down to if i can run him down or not. the race wont happen until the sunday after myrtle beach(22nd) so we've got plenty of time to discuss this!

I can't wait! I should be sitting at 400 RWHP at this point. It put down 385 in 100 degree heat through the stock muffler. I have since ditched the OEM muffler and welded in a Maganflow. Between that and the 80 degree temps we've been having, the car feels way stronger than it did when I first picked it up from the shop. I want to say I'll get a decent jump from a dig, but she struggles on the street once the RPMs start climbing. With that said, a dig should still be in my favor since I have a less aggressive 1st gear and only one pedal to operate, lol. But even if I get a good jump from a dig, I see Greddy at least closing the gap by 100 mph. From a roll, my sweet stop is 40-50 mph in 2nd gear. Its pretty much sitting at 4k RPM and dead hooks, but either way I think that extra 75-80 hp Greddy has will put me in my place by a good 1-2 cars, hopefully no more than that, lol. These are just wild guesses, we all know anything could happen.

How much effect you guys guess the weight difference will make as far as weight vs the power difference? The SS should be in the 3400lb range max.

my car is said to weigh about 3660, I'm gonna guess it'll be closer to 3700 area some of the things i've done like a bigger intercooler and intercooler jug, and little other things. however I'm a little ****er, I weigh a whopping 130lbs lol.

About 147 here....driver weight, passengers, etc plays a big role. Can cost you a race for sure.

So about a 220-250lb weight difference. Thats getting up there about 2 tenths/20 hp worth in theory.

that's true, there's lots of variables. another being that my shifting is not the best, never have been never will be lol. My friends say i've gotten better since i got this car as it shifts easier than the tko in my '95, but i dunno. plus, you have 3.73's to my 3.55's. lots of variables to consider, I just cant wait to see the results.

Exactly, way too many variables to make a solid call. Going to be interesting for sure!

Planning on running it tomorrow night weather permitting. I'll post the results, which should give us a pretty good idea of what it's capable of. DA won't be the greatest, but still.

Going to buy a 1st gen 4dr Neon tomorrow, 2.0/auto..I might just make the trip to straight up spank dat *** in it. :P

I can't really give a prediction either way. We know what car makes the most power, but that deff doesn't mean it will be ahead strictly on that.
