I can tell you that a 1500 dodge is not "built to pull" 1500 are soccer mom trucks, even the SRT10 crew cabs are low 14 second trucks, my tune only powerstroke never had a problem with them

Just hope he's not a bull****ter sitting on some spray... I remember running the wifes LT1 at Cordova when it was stock (14.2 @ 99 on a 2.2 60ft) and the Ram next to me went 11.99... I don't for sure what it had done (aside from being told he was spraying the hell out of it) but it was flying.
With the mods claimed the Cobra will loose if it spins but otherwise should be able to pull off a win here.

I am pretty sure he is not spraying. None of his mods are high horsepower gaining mods other than the programmer. We have same mods except for the programmer I have gears and I have full exhaust and he has a TB spacer which to me is a waste of money.

IDK what a quad cab is capable of, but the 2009 R/T Rams are pretty quick from a dig for a truck. They come with a higher stall, 4.10s, and a few suspension upgrades. There are claims of them running 13.9s, but I've never actually witnessed that. That quad cab is probably a mid 15 second truck if I had to guess, much faster with a good tune. You should be fine.

Not sure when its going to happen I think he is just talking I have offered going to the strip and if he beats me I will pay his way in. I know my car ran 14.8's consistany with a ad rt 60ft and at te time I just got my car and haven't had a mustang in 4 years and hadnt been to the tack in that long either. I have since put 10.5 wheels on the rear thus putting more rubber to the ground and it will barely chirp the tires in 2nd just squat and go. I think he will have a traction issue unless he uses tract control and at that point I will beat him anyway.
