Louder than mine? Hmm what are you running man? I have short tube headers, x pipe(decatted) mac mufflers.
Since hes offline I'll answer for him. MAC longtubes, catless 3" mid-pipe MAC 3" cat-back...I took it out of his sig, so thats what I'm figuring it is.

Wow! With all this talk about how good the MAC's are, (which is the first choice I had for exhaust) I'm most definately going to get them now! Do they still sound really good with the rest of the stock exhaust? Because I don't have enough money to get a FULL system...

at least do an x- or h-pipe. do a real exhaust not this pu$$y a$$ y-pipe BS. it does cost more but it sounds better, flows better, and will make more power

+1. But if money is a problem, then do it from the y pipe then later on have them put in an x/h pipe or straight pipe.

no one does mustang y-pipes. it is cheaper to keep your stock y-pipe and put a quasi dual exhaust on, but it is also less efficient and won't make any more power.

Well if really want a loud exhaust..... take a 3/4" drill bit an right before the cats start puttin holes 1 7/16" apart in your exhaust all the way up to the headers! Then take your mufflers off....Im certain this will make the noise you are lookin for!.......

if you dyno tune the car after the install you might see that kind of gain from CAI/Exhaust. But it is probably going to be lower than that realistically. They take a bad run from before the install, and a perfect run from after so they can claim higher numbers.

that is how some places can make the claims they make without getting in trouble. but their cars are usually highly modded.
