what are the numbers on the gts.....im guessing a 2.2 putting out 200?

im not sure of the size but the gts puts out 180 hp. but they weigh 2500 lbs or so.

yea i jus checked on it ....2500lbs with a 1.8 putting out 180hp and 130 ft/lb torque and you weigh 3200lbs and put out 190hp and 220 ft/lbs of torque. you also make that power sooner than he does. if you had a stick i would say you might have a chance in a short race maybe a 1/8 but with the auto tranny and the extra 700lbs i would give him the race.

the 99-00 edges weigh 200lbs less than the 01-04 edges

I have been in two different Celica GTS's one an auto one a manual. Id have to say that there is a BIG difference in the acceleration between the two, so he might have a tight race with it, but if it were a manual he may as well win also.
