I wouldn't armor all my wipers, put rubbing alcohol on them, it'll make them last longer. Rain-X is friggin awesome, I love that stuff. I haven't tried alcohol on other rubber on the car, but I will eventually.

the wipers i do when they start to dry out to lubricate them but i dont put them on the car or let them touch the windsheild for a couple of days to make sure all of it soaked in

+1 dont use it on plastic, just a warning especially if it is VERY hot. It will discolor on plastic over time. There are other plastic detailers that you can use. Armor all works well on vinyl and leather.
