I see no way possible for you guys to be getting this when the window sticker says 20/29. And thats the OLD style of readings. Now they have the new Styles where they drive normally. And they dont include anything on(Air, defrost, radio, windows up, and on a perfect day) Even by adding "MPG helpers" as in CAI, Spacers, Plugs, wires all those combine arnt even enough to show anything. When my car had all the boltons mentioned i would still get the same 215 to a tank(15.7 tank)

The only thing I have done to the car is added the CAI and Dual Exhaust. I am changing the oil this week as well maybe I will do the fuel filter and run the seafoam. Now about the seafoam, just and it to the fuel tank or what? Also the air filter looks pretty clean, and does anyone know where I can get a air filter for my CAI? Thanks again guys...

well i went 428 miles on 14.72 gallons of fuel (yesterday) all highway driving. put it in the calculator and tell me what it is in MPG. btw i also have a cougar which is geared differntly and a lil heavier than the stangs are.

Is that a 66 chevelle and a cougar in the Mustang section. Wow I've been off for a while and guess this Mustang forum has changed.
Anyways, my 97 pony V6 gets around 21 city and 30 highway. I don't hot rod it and really take it easy. I have the CAI and duals on it but I didn't see any mpg added with them on the car. 88,000 miles on it and still running strong. I am in Michigan so It's put away for the winter.
