Default how to remove center console

i have some led and neon lights that i want to install under my seats and i want to wire them directly into the 12voutlet that is located inside the center console. so i want to remove the center console to get into the wires that run that 12v outlet and hook the neons right into that. but i cant seem to figure out how to get it off..

There are 4screws holding it in. Remove the shifter bezel and you'll find 2, and the other 2 are in the actual center compartment. Inside, at the very bottom there is a felt pad, pull it out(it's basically just sitting there) and you'll find the 2 screws. I always pull the ebrake up, and lift the console over it. You'll need to unplug 12v outlet connection located to the left of the shifter before you can pull the center console completely out.

Here I did a write up a while back. Someone said it was a waist of time and no one would ever need it...
