well, a couple of days ago my buddys girlfriend backed into my car, pulling out of the drive way. She must have hit it pretty hard, because I took it to the dealer and he says my uni-body is bent. At first i thought it was just the bumper and then I realized my passenger side door wouldnt open and my hood was crooked. now i have to wait for insurance to fix it.
ive got some pictures, sorry its a cellphone camera. anybody ever deal with a bent uni-body? what all is involved with the repair? this is looking like its gonna be pretty expensive.
the chunk taken out of the center was already there
passenger side door

all that happened to the bumper. just a little piece of fiberglass sticking out

Looking at your signature picture I have a question....did all new edge Mustangs come with that door molding??? I honestly think it looks horrible and it takes away from the flow and body lines of the car. Your car would look sooooo much better without it!

Yes, it's just 3M tape holding it on. Many rental S197 Mustangs have them too so members here used a fishing line to get behind it with a saw motion to remove it. Some used a hair dryer to loosen the glue but most said the fishing line worked the best. After you peel it off, use some Goo Gone to remove any glue residue and then clean and wax the area. Make sue you post some before and after photos.....I guarantee you will love the results!

'bout to say the same thing. I honestly don't know ONE woman who hasn't gotten in some sort of accident, but most of my guy friends have not. I'm sorry this happend to you. There is no protection from woman drivers. Some idiot woman straight up ran the red light this morning and came 2 inches from smashing my vette into peices with her f150. I had a green left turn arrow, and the b**** on the other side just started going straight into me as I was turning. She looked at me like I was crazy, then i saw her in my rear view mirror backing out of the intersection.
