Default EGR valve

My check engine light is on and the code says something for a EGR valve. I was wondering what it is, and where is it?

Exhaust Gas Recirculation. It helps use up any unburned fuel. And helps the environment.

And i have no idea where the hell it is.

not sure where it is on a splitport... but i do know it does run directly into the splitport lower intake... so it probably enters way in the back.. kinda close to the block.. but that doesn't mean thats where the valve is.. the valve is round though.. but if you can find the tube, you can follow it

On the front of the motor, a pipe comes off the passanger side manifold and leads to it. Can't miss it.

Edit:
Black round part down and left from the blower pulley, about 7 o'clock position.

The EGR Valve is most likely NOT causing the issue. The DPFE sensor is a more likely culprit.

Haha, have you not seen that?

The smaller blower pulley I have (2.8") says "Ferrari Killer" on it.

I wish. All joking aside, there are a lot of them up here. I put that on here b/c of my old boss. He swore up and down Ferrari's are the fastest cars out there. But the wouldn't ever run me on the road course.

Some shots from a local show this Summer:
