Default help with gauge cluster

ok so i have a v6 and a gt gauge set i am looking to do the conversion but i cant find the how to any were. If there is not one can someone explain to me how and i will make a guide.

is it not just a direct replacement? or do you have to recalibrate the speedometer to read right?

uhh, i wanted to do this except with a cobra cluster. From what i remember you need to take the big circuit board off of your v6 cluster and put in on the v8 one so that the PATS won't freak out. Then you need to go to ford and get a recalibration for your tach and speedo. Thats what I gathered at least, i never actually attempted it. Let us know if you get it to work!

so update i tryed to swap them in with no luck, the car would not start.
