So my friend wants to run his stock 84 SVO vs. my basically stock 6er. I think I will get killed; he thinks it would be a good race.....we want your oppinion....
i grew up thinking that the "SHO" title meant fast....untill i found out that the taurus SHO had a 3.8L V8, The smallest V8 that they made, correct me if im wrong on any of that
^ it was a 3.4L v8 w/ 235 hp and 230lb-ft. There was also a v6 SHO taurus. The SVO mustang in 84 was a turbocharged four-banger that made I think 175 hp.

The sho was introduced in 89, and it was a 3 liter with 220hp, not bad, I used to own one a long time ago, fun car. The newer sho's(96) are 3.4 liters, which have 15 more hp and 32 valves.

Its actually a 3.4. And its faster than your mustang with less displacement.
