Default How to increase power on a sixer without mods!

I am sure alot of you know this already. But I increased my HP by 5-10 just by doing 1 simple thing. Shutting off the AC and turning it to vent. I noticed a significant increase in power on my v6. Try it and let me know if it works as well as it has for me.

Tell me you didn't spend money on dyno time to figure this out. Its no big deal driving around but never race with it on at all. I thought it was common knowledge our cars were faster with the a/c off.

its a fact that with any car the AC robs power and also your looking at it backwards you don't gain power from turning it off, you lose power turning it on.

Don't fords have a clutch attached to the ac pulley so that under WOT the ac doesn't work anyway?

i do believe it has a wot cut off switch. as a precautionary measure so you literally dont detonate your ac compressor when turning 5500 rpm in third gear merging onto the high way. well at least mine has it

I was pushing 5600 in 1st roasting my new tires this afternoon. A/C was on full blast, so either there's no shut-off, mine doesn't work, or I didn't stay in redline for long enough to make it engage.

I have heard before there is a cutoff switch at wot that disengages the a/c. It might be for a split second while you're at wot so you never notice the change in temp in your incoming air.

I want him to come back and say where he got that 5-10hp number or if he just pulled it out his ***.
