M90 swap, beefed up 8.8 rear end, a dyno tune and a drop.

M90 is a siprecharger from a early 90s mercury cougar. The 8.8 is just the axle housing size. 3.27, 3.73, 3.90 and so on are gear ratios. The bigger the number the smaller the gear. Smaller gear=faster acceleration and lower too speed. If you just want to wake your car up a little without the hassle of the M90 then go to super six motorsports and get a power pack that was made for a 99-04 v6. That will come with a cam, split port heads and intakes(they are way better than the 94-98 heads). That is about $2500 then you have to pay install and that depends on your area and also if you can do it or know somebody who can. Then you need to get a dyno tune to get the best out of the new mods.

M90 swap as mentioned. Can be done for under $2,000.
8.8 swap, probably $500.
Then 3.55's (gears. a good middle gear ratio for a supercharged car for acceleration/mpg) for another $500.
Dynotune for $300-500.
Lowering springs $200
Bilstein shocks/struts $400ish.

Done.

Performance or visual?

Visual you can go with OEM smoked heads/tails, chin spoiler, rims&tires, billet stuff..

performance..personally first i would go for a GOOD dual exhaust ( i'm partial to my true dual flowmaster set up) and a CAI. Also a handheld tuner is always good, then you can always go for a supercharger & gears. short throw shifter if its 5 speed, and of course a Honda decal for an added 25 horsepower
