Exclamation Front end Conversion from 1998 to 1999-2004 front end

it may be a crazy idea but i think it has been rarely done

i got in a front end wreck with my 1998 mustang a couple of fridays ago (air in my brake lines) and most of my front end was destroyed in the wreck (didnt touch the engine, phew). i was thinking while i was having my car towed to my house, i can convert the front end of the car to a newer 1999 to 2004 style since they have the same exact frame. i havent ordered the parts yet because im wondering about the fenders and the doors. will the fender affect the door when it opens? That is my biggest concern because i don't want to buy all the parts and end up wasting money over the fender and door problems. thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon!

It's possible, but it would take a TON of body work, look terrible, and be cheaper to buy a newer one

Well there wouldnt be a ton of body work at all, the fenders and hood mount in the indentical locations. An SN95 is an SN95.... the main problem would be door fitment. Not to mention the fact the car would look like complete and total ****.

I've always wanted to see the lower front section off of a Termi on an SN-95. You know just a little cutting and "plastic welding" and a crap ton of body filling and sanding to get it to "fit"

Someone used to make the bumper for it, didn;t look right at all, the lines all clashed really bad, even i don;t think the bumper could've have been done better.

Its a really bad look, trust us.

It has been done and the 99-04 has been done on a Ranger too.... Very bad....

Also the S197 is out there for the New Edge and SN95, again ugly.

I think ABC makes the conversion.
