Default stupid question, but i'd like a quick opinion- caliper paint color?

i'm going to buy some paint for my brake calipers later.

what color should i go with?

i have a dark blue car, with white accent, and chrome rims...

i was thinking of silver, black, or the color of my car if i can find it...

right now they are red and i hate it/it doesnt go with the car and the paint is flaking off like crazy.

The only "stupid" question is a question that doesn't get asked. Anyway, I'd go with red or black, I prefer black, stealthy is the way to go. GL

Well black you really arnt going to see to much (if thats why your painting them (for people to notice) where red stands out. Silver will stand out on the on the blue car but will kinda blend in with the Chrome rims....hmmmm....I guess black is what I would go with.

On a blue car, either silver or black

or on the front, paint the caliper itself silver and the bracket black?

It depends, do you want something subtle to cover up the flaking paint, or do you want something that stands out and turns heads as well? Personally on a dark blue car, I would paint the calipers the same color as the car. It would really bring out the wheels without ruining anything like the red does
