i did a few months of listening to clips and research before doing my exhaust

LTs, H pipe with dynomax high flows, 2.5" pipeing, force pro series (flowmaster) mufflers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae3hIW0G7Bo

it passed emissions, was loud when it was WOT, but at idle would not **** off the neighbors, and doesnt sound ricey

^ that setup sounded good, would have liked to hear a WOT rev tho. i like my setup for the sound down low, i fool new people every week at the meets i go to, think my car is a v8. but with the dumps it resonates the interior a lot

MAKE SURE to plug in the front o2 sensors while the LT's have yet to be tightened down. I just installed mine last weekend (Thanks to Shaunmac). I tried to plug the o2 extension after the install and I got my hand stuck... numerous times. I have yet to do a catback so the car is still just sitting, but I also used a BBK H-pipe with highflow cats. It's also best to go about reinstalling the EGR after the headers are torqued down cuz it's a pain to get that copper tubing to bend. the BBK H-pipe also has bungs for the rear o2 Sensors which I will be utilizing. Also, the gains from the LT's themselves will be much more noticeable with a tune (I use 93 Octane)

I'm thinking about leaving 2 stock cats on for a while... that going to negate my gains from the LTs?

negate? no. restrict? yes. You can get a set of high flows for under $200.

Glad to hear you got them installed man, post up a video when you get everything all finished up.

Haven't gotten them installed yet. They were shipped yesterday, hoping to get them installed sometime before next friday. I think I'll keep 2 stock cats on for now, then switch over to high flows when I have some more cash laying around.

how are you gonna use the 2 stock cats? are you gonna chop and reweld them in the new system?

And yeah, as soon as I get the ccatback installed I'll post up a few clips. As of right now though, it is 1: LOUD as HELL on the road (so loud I can't hear my 10" JL subs) and 2: running like POO and I'm guessing it's because none of the o2 sensors are plugged in and there's 0 back pressure from the mufflers. So chances are the stangs gonna sit for the winter and I'm just gonna zoom zoom around in my mazda
