Present on my door step today! Roush Alcon Brake p0rn
As most of you know, I had an 00R Brembo brake kit that I bought a while back for $500 and turned around for $900 net to me. I sold them so I could have Matt go grab this exact kit that I am about to post for $1100 plus $100 extra for Matt's time and trouble.
I had a hard time getting ahold of the guy and BAM! Thunderhorse posts his brand new Stage 3 Performance 14" Roush Alcon Big Brake kit with the Baer EradiSpeed Plus 2's up for sale!
I jumped on them right away and paypaled Mark $680 bucks!
I cant tell you how happy I am to have these brakes and for nearly half of what I was going to spend on them! It was a great thing that I couldnt get ahold of that guy.
So basicly these brakes cost me $280 dollars! WOW!
I always try to make my money stretch but this has got to be a record!
This kit use to be $1200 new, now that its not offered by Stage3 any longer the same thing will run over $2000.
Something I really like about these calipers is that the pads are quick change pads.
Once off the rotor you can change the pads in under 30 seconds per caliper!
I am going to have to make a short vid of just how quick it is!
One question about the setup though, these pads are the Alcon pads and not the Hawk pads that I have seen for these. What material are they (Look semi metalic) and what is the propper bedding in procedure? How do these rate next to the Hawk HP+ for OT and DD?
Enough talk, ON WITH THE BRAKE p0rn!

Ok I found some info for the pad from SBS's site.
Pad# SBS-C-25A-5 is a Ceramic pad as indicated by the C. They make/made better pads.
Here is the .pdf for SBS pads.

I still dont know how to bed them in yet though and how good they compare to the Hawk HP+'s.

BAH! Power is over rated!
Races are won without ever leaving the finish line! XD
...they just arent the kind of races you get a trophy for. :P
I am deciding on wheels right now.
I like how the Stage 3 wheels look but I cant find any of the non-chrome ones plus I dont know how much the 18x9 and 18x10 weigh.
Here is MustangMike01's car over at SVTP, he has the Alcons and the 18x10's on the rear.
I just cant find those though, heck I am even having a hard time finding real Y2K wheels.
I might just have to settle on 95R's or 98' Cobra's for keeping with a cheap 17"
I only wish I knew if the 10th's fit, but I doubt they do because of the inner lip.
