Well ive currently come to the point were I dunno were to go with my mustang....(2000 3.8 T-5). Mod list thus far:
true duals w/ H pipe.
shorty headers (98 3.8 shortys)
reverse glow gauges
Chrome bullits
(have a windstar intake just waiting to pop it on.)
(also have a strut and tower brace just waiting to put it on aswell. will the brace clear the intake?)

Just at a loss of what to do next to my little sixxer....

Ive checked in on the tune local shop wants to charge round 500buxs fora dyno tune.....really high.

And I really dont wana change the gears in my car I like the 3.23's I'd like to add a T-Lok tho. (need to make a trip to the salvage yard just been lazy lol)

And would a rear sway bar make that much of a diff?

yes, a rear swaybar does.

not a dynotune- a tune from AmericanMuscle will do it for you.

Hey man, with the mods you have a dyno tune would be a complete waste of money. I'm thinking NY stang was saying that you need to buy a tuner.. I'm kinda surprised you like the 3.23 gears..If you want to feel a big difference (that want break your wallet) gears are most def the way to go.. Good luck..

BTW your car has 3.27 gears

There are a lot of things you can do. I'd keep a look out on ebay for a used supercharger. Would be by far the best hp investment that retains normal driveability.

Yes the strut tower brace will clear.

Other things to look at are:

* Cobra Brake Conversion kit - far superior to your standard brakes now.
* 3.73 Gears and A Tlok or 8.8" swap with 3.55 or 3.73 gears, a lot of sites sell 8.8" packages.
* Steeda/UPR lower control arms
* Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
* 2001-2004 full side scoops
* Cut your springs or buy a spring kit to lower the car

woof. S/C is currently outa my price range. lol. kinda going for bang for buck. atm. would 3.73's be a good upgrade? buddy of mine has 4.10's in his 3.8 but that seems a tad overboard.

And yea I was thinking about getting one of the canned tunes but wasnt sure what gaines id have. (if any)

talk to justin over at VMP for a tune, dont waste your money on a FFRP trash lok, get a detroit true trac and bullit proof your rear end

the 3.73 vs 4.10 differance is very small, If you were planning boost id say 3.45 or 3.73s, but if your staying NA go with 4.10s
